The Terry Ryan Law Firm began when Terry was asked to represent a friend in an adversarial bankruptcy proceeding. Although he was involved in other pursuits, he agreed. Terry and his wife, Rebecca, who is a certified paralegal, had been discussing the idea of forming the law firm, and decided to proceed at that time. Both Terry and Rebecca are avid gun enthusiasts! In 2008 this law firm was officially formed, and Terry obtained his Colorado license to practice law. He has been a licensed Ohio attorney for 35 years. The Firm was recently joined by Lynda Haaland, an estate planning paralegal, and will be offering services to clients in the area of “gun trusts” authorized by the National Firearms Act.
Since that time, the firm has handled a plethora of cases, many of which have been in the areas of Second Amendment rights, labor and employment, estate planning, contract and landlord/tenant disputes. The Firm has done extensive pro bono work, as well, and seeks to give back to the community in various ways.

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, along with the rest of the Bill of Rights. If your rights to legally keep and bear arms have been violated, call Terry right away! He’s been successfully advocating for the Second Amendment rights of citizens around Colorado, and belongs to several gun attorney networks. In a well-known case from 2010, Terry successfully represented Rocky Mountain Gun Owners in a law suit against the Colorado State University Board of Governors.
